Old West End Fest 2020

The year without a fest

The Old West End neighborhood is one of the largest collections of Victorian, Edwardian, and Arts & Crafts style homes in the country. It also is home to some of the most inclusive creative communities in the city.

Every June, the neighborhood comes to life for the Old West End Festival. The streets become busy highways for decorated golf carts, porches become stages for local bands, and everyone is out to have a great time.

Like most events in 2020, Fest was understandably cancelled. I had the opportunity to create apparel designs to commemorate the first cancellation our neighborhood had seen, and raise funds for the Old West End Association, who would normally count on fest as the primary source of income for the year.
