Well Played, Well Done.

When you have the opportunity to work with a guitar manufacturer, you don’t say no. This is a case of passions intersecting, talents collecting, and stars aligning.

Reverend Guitars has been on the scene since their inception in 1997 in Detroit. They are played by legendary artists such as Billy Corgan, Reeves Gabrels, Mike Watt & many more. Today, they are headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.

Reverend was in need of a new site to better showcase their products, celebrate their artists, and bring their incredible story to the forefront. To get the job done, I partnered with Chris Hatfield (ACD at Hanson Inc.) for a 50/50 collaboration to bring top-tier art direction and storytelling to life. To bring the site to life, we found a build partner in the team at Electric Fun, Jon Spencer & Joel Trzcinski. The four of us Voltron assembled to form a lean & scrappy team with a mix of musical experience and design thinking perfectly suited to the task.

A huge thank you to the Ken and Penny Haas, and the entire Reverend Guitars for giving us the chance to make something like this happen.

Emphasis on “Fun”

For development of the Reverend Guitars website, we turned to our friends at Electric Fun. They effortlessly turned our concepts into a reality, and made for the best possible partner for the job.
